TX stutter

John

Good morning all,

My name is John Marlow G1ORP, I am new to this group.

Like quite a few people I am having trouble with TX stutter, my system is simple Pluto and SDR console V3.2 running on win 10 i5.

After lots of hours trying different settings, its time to ask for help!!!!

I have a strong signal into Q 100 on both NB & WB  max O/P power on NB 20 watts from a 1.2 PH dish. (nor sure how much I use on NB, very little)

Has anybody found a solution?

I can arrange access to this computer via AnyDesk if that would help.

Regards John

Well,
  1. Let's see a screenshot
  2. Increase the TX buffering - Pluto Options.

connected via usb or via network??

to lower cpu load at first set waterfall speed down and restart console (cause then also geobeacon runs slower after restart)

any details about your pc?? (is it an i5 2 core?? how fast?? how much memory?? nvidia graphics with cuda??)

we can do a teamviewer (or anydesk) meeting and i can try to help

if connected via network ... over a router/switch/hub??? or direct to pc with a network cable??

how are your "buffer" settings (tx options/pluto/radio settings/buffer) means how big are the data chunks betweeen pluto and pc and how often are they exchanged)

i had better results with SHORT buffer settings

lets do a sked and i try to help (my "payback" to simon.. help others with setting up their station)
