why should there be a tx button in console if you use sdr console only for rx?!?

external radio means you have a receive only sdr and sync that sdr with a rig that you use for tx ... so you press ptt on the mic of the transciver .. not?!?

I use a boom mic. My attention is already there, when I am in RX. I use the feature in HDSDR, and find I like it.

I'm not working with an external radio but I use a footswitch and find that's the most convenient of all as it keeps my hands free for keyboard operations.

I appreciate the suggestions. I am working on remote ops with Console and my external radio, and Console. VOX sucks.....the TX softkey works great.
