Hello All

 

I noticed the CW and Mid beacon on QO-100 is way down in signal strength. Then found the post on AMSAT DL forum below.

 

Would the poor signal from the center beacon cause the SDRConsole Geostationary Beacon feature to mal function in FT8??

 

 

 

 

This is without the SDRConsole Geostationary Beacon feature enabled and decodes ok although slight drift and have to retune to 10489.543 to get it in to JTDX

 

 

 

This is with the SDRConsole Geostationary Beacon feature enabled but no decodes at all and the frequency is on 10489.540

You'll not have the locking required for FT8.

1. Use SSB - talk to people!
2. Beacon levels will be OK tomorrow.
