A problem with Remote Servers on one of my laptops. Using SDR Console V3.025. Can connect to online Remote Servers, but no data signals coming through, Local connect and data to USB dongle OK. Don't think it has anything to do with the Router's firewall, because another PC or laptop with SDR Console does receive data signals from remote servers. Also disabled Windows Firewall as well, no luck. Clues anyone?

When I use the same sever (Super Station #2), I see the following:

What settings are you using under the Home, Radio, Server Options, Network? See image attached
If on, disable the UDP. To use it, you must open the port in your router and have it forwarding to the
IP of the computer you are using. Helps to make your computer have a fixed IP, otherwise it may change
IP address upon reboot or power down/on cycle.

...and Voila! Disabling UDP solved the problem with the displaying of the waterfall and spectrum data! I suspect it is the same problem I have with setting up a server for my station, which connects but not displaying waterfall and spectrum data. Thank you for your help!

As the notes say, use UDP only in extreme connection issues, ie drop outs, stuttering, etc. Thanks to Simon’s work last winter/spring, the servers are now accessible even when the server and client are on WiFi!

Although I wouldn’t recommend it, mine are all hardwired with Ethernet.
