If you get underway with DUO support please let me know, Remote Operation is my main use for SDRC - I would be more than happy to help beta test if this is of any use to you (I have done a lot of beta testing for the RemoteHams.com (RCForb) guys in the past, so I know the drill). I would also be sure to make sure Millie is well fed for a while :)

Hi Simon, I have two use cases for Remote operation:

1 - From one building to another (Shack to House) via Ethernet LAN with very low latency (Fortinet equipment). 50 meters maximum. I also have a Cambium wireless ethernet bridge (as a backup) that would be interesting to test. I would be fairly  confident this will work based on my experience with these. 
2 - From the Shack to the outside world via the Internet

* Re latency: I am OK with bigger buffers as required (as is the case with Remotehams, but obviously this is a different payload to SDRC!) 

* Re antenna switching: I dont have remote antenna switching on the DUO setup, but I might add something at a later date (not a huge priority for me at the moment)...  My other rigs (such as a TS-990S) have all the built in Antenna switching I need for those purposes, accessible via Remotehams). In the case of the DUO and SDRC, Multiband resonant antennas are my solution for the time being, and will do what I need. 

I had the same idea as Pez, I bought a FDM-DUO due to the wrong information that SDR-Radio ist supporting FDM-DUO with remote RX/TX :-(
My final goal is to remotely operate my microwave transverters on a hilltop. I have a 100 MB sync internet connection on both ends.
I am glad to do beta testing as well!
