I was trying to change the DXCluster and have manage myself into a dead end.
Can some one tell me where I go to add or edit the DXCluster being used?
I don't see an option in the Marker drop-down.

Hi Paul

Have you read this?

https://www.sdr-radio.com/dx-cluster

You need login and password from the administrator for the chosen cluster.

OK read that and it says go to:

Select DX Cluster from the ribbon bar, View, Spectrum pane.
The only option tha seems reasonable then is:

Markers- Marker Config , where I see a DX box you can click

but don't see where to go from there ??

Ah, yes Paul, I see what you mean. That text is not actually correct. It's now not in the Spectrum section, it's in the middle of the "General" section. You need to look a bit further to the left in the View tab of the ribbon bar. See the attached picture. Click that and you should be there. Once set up, you need to select the "DX Cluster" tick box in the Markers configuration.

Hope it helps.

Max,

Nice catch - what you're using is a 3.3 test kit where I've tidied up the View panel.

Ah, yes, sorry about that Simon. I did think about going back to the main release 3.2 to check but I was lazy and did not do it!

So Mike, my picture was wrong for the current release 3.2. The button you need IS in the Spectrum section, as shown here. Apologies. Anyway, if you hit that button you should be on your way. Come back here if still having difficulty. Note, if the dropdown in the resulting DX Cluster setup box is grayed out, you need to click "Close" to stop the current cluster and make amendments.

Ok, understand you are running a different version. I am using 3.2 rel 2731. See attached screen shot. So I am in View-Spectrum-Markers. With DX Cluster selected, I select "Add", the only option I see is for adding a frequency marker? I have restarted program and get same options.

Ah, all becomes clear! No, you are on the correct release version of 3.2 but you have the SDRC window sized down, not full screen, so the DX Cluster setting button has become reduced to a small "world" icon.

If you make SDRC full screen I think you will see the full sized icon/button appear as per my last post, but otherwise, see this:

Tnx for hanging with me on this issue. Yes, once I went full screen there was DX button. So have it up and running now. Appreciate it very much

NP at all Mike. Very pleased we finally found it. Just for future reference, they say a picture paints a thousand words. If I'd seen that at the start we would have got there immediately, which is why the first thing Simon always asks for is a full sized screenshot. Worth bearing in mind if any future problems (and anyone else reading this).

All the best
