DIVIDE_BY_ZERO when selecting a specific remote server. Version 3.0.17 #network #sdrconsolev3

Dick

Hello Simon

Just installed Version 3.0.17.
Never really played with remote servers before, so this might not be new or specific to Version 3.0.17.

When using a specific remote server from sdrspace.com, connect to it, select the "VHF-UHF" radio and press Start the program crashes with:
SDR Console.exe caused INT_SDR Console.exe caused INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO in module "D:\Amrad-(LT)\SDR-RADIO.com\V3\SDRSourceServer.dll" at 0033:00000000388DD24B, SDR_ReceiveInterrupt()+25563 byte(s)
in module "D:\Amrad-(LT)\SDR-RADIO.com\V3\SDRSourceServer.dll" at 0033:00000000388DD24B, SDR_ReceiveInterrupt()+25563 byte(s)

These are the definitions from the "auto detect" text view:

FWIW I'm certain that's the same error I recently reported, that I can no longer reproduce. That's a different server, mine is private, but I also use an RTL Dongle as one possible common factor.

Regards, Mark

Hello Simon,
A zip file with all screenshots that lead to the crash can be found here:
https://sdr-radio.groups.io/g/main/files/HobbyD%20files/DIVIDE_BY_ZERO%20%282019-11-10%29.zip
so it can be deleted once no longer needed.

Let me know if you want the 270MB crashdump.

Cheers,
Dick

Ah,

Looks like a UI bug. Select a Bandwidth - you must have a valid bandwidth. Maybe there are none, I will check.

In my case it wasn't possible to select a bandwidth, the drop down list was empty / blank. Now I can't reproduce the problem and have normal bandwidth directions...

Dick,

I've fixed a bug - you can no longer select if the bandwidth list is empty. The server you are using is returning the bandwidths in a strange format - which RTL software is being used on this server? I can support it, I just need to know what is happening.

Also,

These are very high bandwidths, only suitable for a LAN and probably too high for the RTL Dongle. Anyway, bug fixed, many thanks!
