Hi,

The combination of Alt+number (e.g. Alt-3) pops up the frequency entry window.
As try to use them as keyboard shortcuts, can that pop-up be suppressed?
I expected the frequency entry with the use of the ctrl key.

Place mouse in bandscope or water fall, type in a frequency. A window pops up upon entering a number.
Easy peasy.

Explanation:

When pressing Alt-1 (as an example), the shortkey is being executed.
But the program still interprets it as a number, so popups the frequency dialog.
When unwanted: untick the box of   "Direct frequency entry" [Type 0,1,2,....] in the Tuning options ->General.
With that you cannot input directly a frequency. So it's one or the other.

Yes you can. With box unticked, direct number frequency entry is stopped but you can initiate direct frequency entry by double-tapping Ctrl key, even if cursor is not in waterfall/spectrum. That's exactly what you need is it not?

1: Direct frequency entry is still possible with double-tap of Ctrl

2: Alt-Number is now available for your keyboard shortcuts

Maybe I misunderstood what your need is?
