New SDR Play Receiver, SDR Console is Confused
Jess Girard
I purchased an SDR Play RSP Duo a few weeks ago. It plays fine using other programs, but not with SDR Console.
I upgraded to 3.3 but it sees the RSP Duo as my old RSP1 and while it thinks it's connected nothing happens. Help! I'm sure I should introduce SDR Console to the new receiver but how? Thanks in advance... Jess |

So,
I'd like some screenshots.

Hi Simon:
Thanks for your reply! Here's an image of what it finds, and I've attached the log file it just generated. I did click on "Start" in this little window but nothing happens. It seems to think my older SDR Play RSP1 is still attached, but it's not. Looking forward to your thoughts. Jess |

Does the Duo require different drivers vs the RSP1?

Hi Simon:
I did as you suggested and it immediately found the Duo. I added it and it's working perfectly. Thanks! I fear this was yet another example of "RTFM" but as a lifelong amateur radio operator, "Read The F______ Manual" seems to be beyond me. Cheers! Jess (A.R.S. ND1L) |

🙂
After my Grade-A stupidness with my 70cms station I really can't criticise you.
