Blue Screen of Death after having installed SDR-Radio Console V3.3

I've been using SDR-Radio Console V3.2 with my Afedri-SDR 3.0 and my pc without any problem.
Yesterday I installed V3.3 Beta but the pc crashes with Blue Screen of Death after a short time when I launch V3.3!
So, I uninstalled V3.3 and re-installed V3.2, but now I have the same bsod problem also on V3.2.
My pc is a laptop HP i7-1165G7 16GB RAM and GeForce MX450 running Windows 11 22H2. CUDA is enabled.
I desperately need help!!

OK,

You need the reason why it crashes, my guess is heat-related, check the dust filters etc. Could also be bad RAM or disk.

Use Google, you'll find the reason for the crash in the event log.

I don't think it's heat-related. The fan is not running and all the other software installed on my pc runs flawlessly, so I would also exclude problems on RAM/SSD.
I checked the event log, but I don't understand it at all. The report is the following:

Just another detail:

If I launch SDR-Radio Console with the Afedri not connected on the ethernet port, nothing happens.
If I connect the Afedri on the ethernet without launching SDR-Radio Console nothing happens.
The pc crashes only when I launch SDR-Radio Console with the Afedri connected on the ethernet port.

Can you give me some more help? I'm really desperate... :-(

You must find someone who can help you understand the reason for the crash dump, maybe it's a driver. It is not SDR Console.

Try connecting to a remote server, see if that works.

I succeeded in taking a photo of the bsod screen which disappear in a fraction of second.
The message is:

Codice di interruzione: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Elemento che ha causato il problema: wfplwfs.sys

Perhaps this info is of help to understand what happens...

Yes,

Just Google "wfplwfs.sys blue screen" and you see many posts about this, it's the driver causing the BSOD. My software cannot cause a BSOD, only kernel drivers can.

I am sorry, I cannot help more, maybe someone else can.

I understand that the problem was not caused by your software, evidently something happened.
I googled a bit and it seems that the file wfplwfs.sys has been corrupted, I don't by what and when.
I do hope there is a chance to fix it, I will ask around.

First thing I would try is do all available Windows updates (Windows key then type "Windows update" to get to the settings page. I think it unlikely to be this as you are already on 22H2. But I would check it anyway.

Then after that I would remove the video card driver (from "add/remove programs and also from Device manager, choosing the option to "delete files" if available) then reinstall latest video driver from Nvidia. I think I am right in saying that SDR Console is quite a graphically intensive program. Could be video driver related.

According to Nvidia this is the latest driver for your MX450:

Just because the error points to wfplwfs.sys I would not assume that means that this file is corrupt. More likely it's being called by some other piece of software on the system.

You may have an old version of the Afredi driver. - IF the error is always 0x000000d1 at the same address.

You are on a laptop - try putting a POWERED USB hub between the laptop and the Afredi especially if the Afredi uses USB power.
