World Map 1.3.5

The info box at first goes darker (higher contrast) and then dimmes out... Could you at least make it sticky for a few seconds where you clicked "to make a screenshot WITH info box" shown?? That would be pin a needle that erases after a while... Or pin a point that stays as long as you do not click elsewhere in the map. So we would have a moving info box when you move mouse cursor... Click a point and info box stays there... If cursor moved elsewhere the first one stays.. and a new moving box appears if you are in the map or you can make a screenshot with only the first box shown... Click in the map and first box is erased and new box becomes sticky... Rotator move with shift click or right mouse button?? Or make point sticky with right mouse button?? Or erase it with right button?? WDYT?? I let the exact procedure on your end (your are the boss) Just telling you my ideas A pop up menue with right mouse button would be nice with a few options 1. pin needle (to show info box) 2. Add point to the station list (open list editor with filled in coordinates and just add station name by user) 3. Erase point .... Whatever Dg9bfc sigi Am 26.11.2022 17:12 schrieb Simon Brown <simon@...>: |

Sigi,
For version 1.3.6 you can press Ctrl+T to take a screenshot. I will not be adding pins, instead there will be more optional station lists with display options.

And here's a screenshot. I'll post a 1.3.6 kit in the test team group later today, currently having hardware failures, more expenses

works fine ... just press ctrl + t when the info box increases the contrast (wait a few seconds after you pointed mouse arrow .. just before it dimmes out) yes the gc path is from me to simon .. grin ... a bit over 1000km at direction 259° ... what a nice tool :-) dg9bfc sigi ps could you increase that dimming out timer a bit??

I love this program but I have gotten so far behind on the updates. Is there a manual for it somewhere? Simon, thanks for all your hard work. Tom Stiles On Sat, Nov 26, 2022 at 11:12 AM Simon Brown <simon@...> wrote: --

Yes, I just installed it a few minutes ago and that is what prompted my request for a manual. Thanks and have a great week. Tom On Sun, Nov 27, 2022 at 5:29 AM jdow <jdow@...> wrote:

outch ... hardware failure does not sound well hopefully you can solve it ... about to be added stations ... you should have a few different lists example commercials (wwv and big radio stations) dx spots (a few of the most wanted spots, rare islands etc) and what about (activ??) SDR RADIO SERVERS ... yes that would be nice to have a map of sdr radios that you can connect to with console ... at best with option to connect to them by point and click .. grin greetz sigi dg9bfc ps ok ok i dream a bit hi hi ... need more coffee :-)

Thanks. Awesome program. Have used it for years but am a little rusty as far as all the changes. I want to do a YouTube video on it but I want to know more about what's new. Tom (hamrad88) On Sun, Nov 27, 2022 at 8:19 AM Simon Brown <simon@...> wrote:

Sigi,
There are many things that could be done, DX Cluster integration with alarms may happen.

This was really just a small program to display a map and clock and A,K data. It's grown and I must be careful that it doesn't get out of hand.

hmm ... grab cluster spot ... pull locator of spot from qrz.com
and show on the map?? (and if shift click turn rotator) THAT would be cool (select a cluster close to own location to see only possible spots from eu spotters) in parallel console jumps to that frequency.. work the dx ...
BINGO :-) dg9bfc sigi ps dx lab suite does similar things Am 27.11.2022 um 15:37 schrieb Simon
