MIDI Hercules MP3 e2

then just exchange manually :-)

in normal you "learn" each button (or dial move) so if vfo goes reverse then you turned it wrong way while learning the code

my deck (no hercules) sends 63 down and 65 up (up is clockwise!)

so i have to set 63-63 down and 65-65 up

and if you want to change the direction you can manually edit and exchange above numbers or "learn" them reversed

maybe you have to delete the definition and start from a blank table

i am sure you can solve it that way

ps my deck has a touch sensor ontop that i use for finetune (vfo step/10) ... so i had to learn vfo move 2 times .. with and without sensor active

sometimes you have to manually edit the numbers to work properly

i had to change numbers to 63-63 down and 65-65 up (not on a hercules but on a different deck

Hey Max, thanks for those replies.I had been on the midi controller page on Simons website already on the "Frequency tuning" section.

I have moved up to 3.2 but no change. I had manage to get the vfo moving in both directions but it is not logical if you consider the ^ should be tune up in frequency? See screenshots below both of these work but opposite to a normal vfo ie) clockwise to go up ^

This works below in same way, in reverse.

I dont know if my mouse setting scroll is having an effect I dont know as im going round in circles atm.

Also is this of any use? May be a lot of similarities?

Paul

First thing to note is that SDRC has been on v3.2 for quite a while now, so upgrade to latest kit.

Secondly, does anything on here help? I can see Hercules DJ controller is mentioned in the text:

Sorry, I don't use one so no direct experience.

I have the above controller which I have adapted for use in Thetis with my Anan & now Hermes Lite. I am sharing the controller between two pc's and using sdr console with my IC7300 but I cannot seem to get things working. My .m2c mapping is not compatible with xml either

Does anyone have an xml file they will share or advise how the heck I can setup this controller with v3.1

TIA, Paul
