Saving Spectrum Edges in each band (?) #sdrconsolev3

EA1ARW - Luis M. Marin

Hi there!

I am new to SDR Console V3 and have a question about band edges on the spectrum scope.

As a CW operator, let's say I only want to see signals from 14.000 to 14.065 Mhz. I can easily adjust this,
but if I switch bands and go back to 20m, the spectrum does no longer show that range, but a wider / different one. Is there a way to save this spectrum band edges, or there is just no way around it?

(For example, in the IC7300 there is a way to customize them depending on the op's preference)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Works like a charm!

Luis...  You can also leave the Favourites on the screen for quick access.  I use them for all my bandswitching; just click on the band you want to use and SDRC will tell the radio and the logging program where to QSY also.  See attached pic.

Thanks, Steve! I already set my favourites on a side of the screen for quick access.

Hi Luis,
Just curious. How were you able to place push buttons on the side of the screen? Can you show a picture of that?

Thank you,
George

Hello George!

I placed a floating window with my favourites on the side of the screen. To do this, I clicked on the Favourites tab, then Tree Pane and selected my favourites as a floating window.
Hope this helps. Or maybe Steve KH6CT can elaborate more on the whole process.
