Capture SDRC video and audio

Conrad, PA5Y

I want to capture video of the waterfall along with demodulated audio in Windows 10. I believe that I can use Windows Game bar, is there anything easier and quicker?

Many thanks

Why not use the video recorder feature of SDRC or is it not enough definition for you?
i.e. Rec/Playback tab, Video , on the far right.

I did not know it was there 😊

I don't believe the OP shared what he's running on, a laptop or a desktop.  There still might be the integrated graphics restriction he may run into.

I'm currently running SDRC on a new 12th generation i7 laptop with the Nvidia RTX3050 Ti graphics and SDRC's video recorder will not run.   Bandicam is what I need to use for any recording I make.

It is an i7 workstation and I was able to do what I wanted very easily, I was using 500kHz BW via LAN with an Afedri LAN-IQ.  Another nice previously undiscovered feature. Mind you I did not need it until today.

I also did not know that feature was there. Thank you Simon.

Interesting, I can make videos on my +6 year old HP W10 i7 laptop. No special GPU, just what ever is inside it.

I have to connect a second screen (in this case a tv via hdmi) and switch windoze to "mirror" screen (show the same as main).. Then recording video works.
Seems as when using main screen alone the onboard graphics works alone while with 2 screens the nvidia works in parallel (but i am not sure).
I very seldom use that video recording option but at least i found out (by accident) how to get it working.
Its an hp i7 quadcore laptop with 32 gb ram and with an nvidia k2100m... (in its days hp called them mobile workstation)
I do not own a super wideband sdr but when using a pluto its just running in idle speed with 2% load..
I have no idea why i need above combination to get video recording working. Maybe somebody in the group may explain that?!?

i have a small problem left over with the video recorder

if i use two receivers in parallel (dx station on rx 1 and the "zoo" and my own tx signal on rx2 )... and do a video recording the rx 1 is muted (no dx voice in recording see video)

SIMON?? Can you please change that in video recording not only last active receiver but both audio (mixed) are recorded ??

in user interface (active sound) i hear BOTH signals in parallel .. but in video recording rx1 is missing

BUHUUUU ;-( sniff

ps video is from "polarster"2 maritime mobile on qo100 but sadly you can not hear him

I use OBS studio, as mentioned earlier. It will let you capture, record, and STREAM any SDR software. Learn to use it once, and you can use it for many things. My experience. It's a great freeware tool.
