SDRC V3.1 with Win11
Sorry to be a bother but not sure where to turn..... I am having a heck of a time reinstalling SDR Console (64 bit version) on my new radio room replacement PC. Its almost complete (I think) except when I try to start the program I get a SYSTEM Error that says execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll and VCRUNTIME140_1.dll cannot be found.
I tried reloading as suggested by the error but to no avail. unfortunately I have NO clue as to how to fix this or what to do next... everything worked just fine on the very old Win 10 machine but it definitely was time to upgrade. If it helps, my email k1uo.larry@... is working on the new PC and might make things easier. -- Larry - K1UO |

Go to: C:\Program Files\SDR-Radio.com (V3)\x64

Run the files there to get redistributables installed. Start with the current ones: VC_redist.x64 and VC_redist.x86. If that still fails use the other two. {^_^} On 20220422 17:50:50, Larry - K1UO

I think I found what you mean. I did a "repair" on those redistrib files in the X64 folder. Looks like I am all set now.. AND learned something :)
Thank you. -- Larry - K1UO |

Hi Larry,
For next time, Simon has a Tools folder in the Start Menu (see attached). Barry WB2ZXJ |

And in that tools folder a function is missing... "Export all settings to a single user file" to save in a usb key for transporting the settings from one pc to another... Or for reinstall after a major crash.. Or for send to simon (or somebody else) for debugging if needed I do know that it is not just one single file to be saved and restored.. But a handful of files plus some registry settings And for sure when you IMPORT it again a popup window should say.. Do you really want to use those settings?? All settings will be overwritten... But.. It would be good if we would have such a single file export import thingy... Not?!? Just thinking loud hi hi Dg9bfc sigiĀ Am 23.04.2022 14:20 schrieb Barry Jablonski <bjablonski@...>:

Decided to build everything new to the remote SDRC server and all is working FB again.. maybe better than before after years of garbage files and broken links.
Thanks all for the guidance.... much appreciated.... this time I used my remote router ddns in the address field of the SDR in case of remote power loss. Regards, -- Larry - K1UO |
