Found a loose connection on the BNC to SMA adapter connecting SDR #1 to the active multicoupler on Superstation #2. The ground was not making a good connection of all things.🤪

Yes,

Will give this some thought. My OnAir server can send e-mail via my e-mail server (I run my own, hMailServer). Maybe a maximum of one e-mail a day to offenders.

FWIW running your own e-mail server on Windows is very, very easy - https://www.hmailserver.com/ - free and good.

Maybe a valid email address must be given (email approval via you) to get the upload code? Kinda late now that the cat is already out of the bag!
That may weed out the phantom servers or at least have a way of contacting them via email.
ARRL_noise_1 has been FUBAR for 50 days 😮 and ON0WAL - SDR Antwerp Repeater Club has been down for 17 days!a   I still think the big issue is the default setting of running the service when windows starts. Somebody experiments with the
server at some point, and gives up. Maybe thinking that shutting down the manager, the server is down (but it's still running in the background). Then the
computer is repurposed for other duties, unbeknownst to them it's pinging your server saying "I'm here" but no radio is connected.

On a lighter note, our club's VP just put his Airspy online (few miles from me) and an currently working with him on improving his server.
Currently the name is Ken's Backyard-N1RP. I did an A/B comparison last night after our club meeting, see attachment.
S/N ratio hopefully will improve. Antenna is 124' long, and the unun is currently not grounded, which on my setups helped
a lot on the lower bands.

Hi Kriss,

Most likely some type of military OTH radar, but something else to consider might be stock exchange transmissions that are starting to gain a foothold in the HF frequency spectrum.  Here are a couple of links discussing the practice:

I remember running across some YouTube videos a year or so ago, that showed how wide-spectrum (several tens to hundreds of kHz wide), but haven’t been able to locate them.  If I find links, I’ll provide them to the group.  I suspect we are going to see more such interference in the HF band in the future.

Your back online!
See my post (rant?) on the other site:
https://forum.sdr-radio.com:4499/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1518

By the time I found a server that actually was online and had an antenna connected... it was gone!

BTW... Airspy #1 on Superstation #2 is not feeling well... sometimes it's deaf, other times it's same performance as Airspy#2 (the one you use lol). Will check into it today. Raining and only 4 deg c outside, yeck!

BTW,

Looks like a military data transmission, possibly radar but I suspect data.
