Kindly look at the attached picture.

Notice the satellites buttons shown circled in red.  Also notice the popup that shows a group called 'Favs'.

How do I take my favs group and make them the push buttons shown where the existing ones are displayed.

Apparently, I am not sure what the groups are used for.

First, press "Select" to left of the buttons you have circled. Then "Browse" and Favourites is a tick box option from which you can add to the push button list. Make sure "Add to Satellite List is ticked as shown in the picture.
