Ettus x310 at 200MHz bandwidth
So,
See attached screenshot – 1.8GHz GSM signals. Radio running at 200 MHz bandwidth. Noise figure ~ 3dB, acceptable SNR.

Looks great! Are there any instructions for connecting to the x310, I couldn't find any. Would love to try.

Er,
Yes – follow http://www.sdr-radio.com/Radios/EttusResearch then plug the x310 in. You will need a decent graphics card for the FFT, 200Ms/s only possible on an ultra-mega-gee-wizzo system. Normal PCs OK at 50 Ms/s.

lol. I was just thinking about how I approach my neighbor about putting an antenna up that reaches into his garden :) Right now I'm using a PCB antenna in my shack, which is lined with metal foil insulation, so I'm surprised I am getting any signals. I'm just hooking up a PCIe interface in place of 1G ethernet so I can get full throughput to my "decent" PC. If there are any tests you would like me to carry out for you with the x310 with the V3 release, let me know. My mid-term objective is LTE/NBIoT work, can talk offline about that if you are interested, but I'm also a ham so my setup is split between licenced amateur frequencies and conductivity coupled "day job" based scenarios. Hi,
Interesting – any ‘pretty’ screenshots in the future would be interesting.
