Satellites: NetSDR/DownConveter + TS-2000
Hi,
Listening with the NetSDR + Down converter, transmit with the TS-2000.
First pass of FO-29 – total cock-up my side. Second pass of FO-29 – worked DM2FB, CT3FM, IK8YSS, M0NPT, OM3CLS, GM4ILS.
The Satellite tracking in the console also provides Doppler-correction for the TS-2000. So my idea is viable, I still need to refine this J .
Next pass in 48 minutes will be interesting – covers new England and the UK at the same time.

K8YSE, FO-29, beautiful QSO. All that programming paid off…

Excellent!
Good for you. Now, you know what is coming your way?? Request for more radios (support for TX). How about the IC-9100? Just to put a pitch in :-) Running mine with SatPC32 right now and the airspy on Sdr-radio. Stefan, VE4NSA |

Hi,
It’s working with OmniRig so any standard radio will be fine. I’m having fun on FO-29, with each pass I’m ironing out errors in the code, I’m using the TMate II to control the SDR & mute the audio while I speak as the delays make me crazy J .
Shame there isn’t more satellite activity – the next pass would be a good one for US & Canada ó Cornwall.

I had a poor antenna and my 2m rig was USB only so I tried my very bad CW. About 5 replied to my first CQ, I regret to say that I was lost and did not make a contact. Those were the days when the CAT was on the mat. Happy Christmas Alan G4ZFQ |

I had forgotten Simon's boss:) But I never mastered manual 70cm doppler correction. The only contacts I had were on Phase 3 birds, I do not think any more of those will be launched.. 73 Alan G4ZFQ |
