It's brilliant - thought it would be good, but
it's even better.

Now all I need to do is discover how to individually control volume and route audio to different sources (VFO A at 518 KHz to decoder and VFO B for tuning around with audio to speaker) Jack K8ZOA On 12/24/2012 5:54 AM, Simon

Thanks for the preview. Using it here with my Funcube Pro Plus. Good clean audio, and low CPU usage 1-3 % on a AMD 2.8 GHz quid core and WinXP pro. Happy Christmas and New year. Philip g7jur. --- In sdr-radio-com@..., "Simon G4ELI/HB9DRV" <simon@...> wrote:

Simon, After a short period was able to get Version up and running. I like what I see. Only one issue is that I cannot get it on frequency. I have used the more button to insert -21ppm that I use with Version 1.5 Using my GPS Controlled reference with Vsn. 1.5 it is spot on frequency at 2GHz. With Vsn. 2 it is 19.3kHz high in frequency. Appreciate it is a Technology Preview and not a Beta.
I would like to volunteer to beta test your Extras package. I am using Version 1.5 every day for Satellite downloading. 73 Colin VK5HI. PS: A Very Merry Christmas.

Simon, Have resolved the frequency variance. The ppm value needs to be multiplied by 10. Found that -214 did the trick. Apologies for shooting too quick. 73 Colin VK5HI

Jose, Yes I twigged to that when I saw my Version 1.5 had -21.0. 73 Colin.

Type -210 instead of -21. No decimals. Easy! 2012/12/24 Colin Hurst <cjhurst@...>

The VFOs can be set for Left or Right channel, or both. Volume 'slider' icon adjusts volume in each VFO.

Just tried it on my Laptop 1.8 GHz Intel, and Win XP pro. Runs very smoothly, with 15-20 usage. That a lot better than Version 1.5. Many Thanks Philip g7jur. --- In sdr-radio-com@..., "Philip" <philip.g7jur@...> wrote:

Thanks Simon, downloaded & installed ok (Win7, 64 bit)- but how do you get a list of remote servers?

Version 1.5 gets the list from the server ok, but not the new one. I have changed the port to 7999 as per the help, but no joy. What am I missing? On Mon, Dec 24, 2012 at 9:54 PM, Simon G4ELI/HB9DRV <simon@...> wrote:

I have VFO A assigned to one sound card and speaker system and VFO B to a second.
What I can't make work is to have both active at once. Clicking on one mute button (either A or B) reverses the status on the other. I can have only one audio stream active at one time. What am I doing wrong? Jack |

There is not a list of V2 Beta servers
yet.
I would assume there needs to be a user base before the list is worth building. I'll turn mine on later and post a link if others have not by then. Stu On 24/12/2012 12:05, ken johnson wrote: Thanks Simon, downloaded & installed ok (Win7, 64 bit)- but how do you get a list of remote servers? |

Ok, thanks Stu, I had assumed that the 1.5 servers would be compatible, thinking it was "just" an I/Q data steam coming in. Oh well, time for bed, we will see if Santa can deliver some v2 servers tomorrow.
