Name Suggestion

Simon HB9DRV <simon@...>

Image you have just designed the world's greatest SDR receiver of all time, what would you call it? I'm looking for a series of names.

Any suggestions for a family of names which could be used for SDR receivers?

No prizes for now :)

Nope - serious question here. What name(s) would you find appealing? Yaesu's FTDX... prefix is very good. Mind you, some names are based on the children, there was a big IBM mainframe app. which the guy names after his kids.

I have a little pistol.  It is made by Keltec.  It shoots .380 caliber bullets.  They call it the P3AT.  Get it?

Using similar prosaic tricks, how about Ess-dee-ar  Momentum, Ess-dee-ar Millenium, Ess-dee-ar Maximum.

-or-  Esdeeare Momentum, Esdeeare Millenium …

-or-   Essdee R1, Essdee R2, …

Friendly Regards,

Yes they do !!
They use a special integrated tube developed by a German firm about the end of the ww2.
Those secret plans had been caught by east armies invading that land and reappeared at the wall fall in the PRoG .
They were further stolen by retired Agents, unemployed, and bought by a Swiss Information Agency in the last years.
Endly that highly integrated complex tube (VLSIT) appeared in a up-to-date version using S-watch materials and recycled PET .
Since then, our Dear Friend were given one sample prototype, in exclusive use,  to develop the Finest  SDRig   in the world.
From that very moment, Ham Radio has never been the same as before !!!

I'll try out 'Cyborg RX' with you.... eventual version... 'Cyborg RX/TX'...

"A cyborg , also known as a cybernetic organism, is a being with both biological and artificial (e.g. electronic, mechanical or robotic) parts. ..."  - Wikipedia

Denotes the cybernetic features of the software and the immense amount of programming time you have offered to create it!
