I'm using the Transverte rfrom PE1CMO with a 1.25m dish and Studio-MIC attached to the IC-7900 :-)
By default, Omnirig v1.19 is not delivering an INI-File for the IC-9700. So you can use my INI-File with your IC-9700.

I've got now the correct INI-File for my IC-9700 in order to use Omnirig (see attached INI-File).
Now the freq. is synchronized either by using the SDR Radio Console or with the VFO knob at the IC-9700.

It works now over Omnirig but only as one-way synch solution.

If I change the freq. in the SDR Radio Console it will change in the
IC-9700 too.

But if I change the freq. in the IC-9700, it will not change the freq.
in SDR Radio console.

I'm running the IC-9700 in the SAT-Mode means with two VFOs.

I'm even not able to conenct my new IC-9700 as an external radio over USB (COM 3) to your SDR Radio Console v2.0.17
And i'm not using omnrig.

I have the same issue. I'm not able to synch my IC-9700 with the
latest SDR Console 3.0.17. The external radio window appears with the
correct QO-100 freq. 431.740.00 (equal 10.489.740.000). This is
correct but I'm not able to synch.
As I know you support only the Kenwood TS-2000 CAT commands, perhaps
is this the issue. I'm also using Omnirig v1.19 with the correct
ini-file and 100ms polling intervall, but it does not synch.
