SDRC with Skimmer doesn't work #sdrconsolev3 #cw
Kurt, DF4XX
Hello folks,
Have installed the SDR Console V3 V3.0.10-64bit and configured with IF driven SDRPlay RSP2Pro (IF from K3S) and OmniRig. everything works properly.
CW Skimmer 2.1 and VB Cable (1.3.05).
With HDSDR / VB cable / CW Skimmer running all fine.
When I Enablethe skimmer in the console as described here,
https://www.sdr-radio.com/Software/3rd-Party/CWSkimmer no I / Q data will be routed to the skimmer. The following messages appear in the log of SDRC.
22:21:47.542: Skimmer Data> Writing 480 samples to CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)

OK,
Just did a clean install of everything – works OK. I am now updating the documentation to avoid any confusion. Will be ready this evening, I’m out this afternoon.

Hi Simon
the frequency Offset 12295 is the Span Value.. if I change the Span Zoom, so I have to enter the new value in the CW Skimmer Settings under Audio IF .. see Screenshot below 19:36:27.255: Skimmer Data> Initialising data (IQ)

Hi Simon,
requested Files attached. In fact, if I change the span (zoom), I have to enter the new span value in the AUDIO IF for the CW Skimmer Settings. Otherwise it will not fit anymore.
Maximum Span is about 20k.
Hope it helps with the search?

Excellent,
Will look at this now although it’s getting a tad warm. Like fine wines I am best when kept cool.

Of course, finding a band with any CW signals for testing isn’t easy! I’ve never experienced such bad conditions as the summer of 2019.
