The program if it works is excellent, but I can no longer work on it.
with elad fdm s1 windows 7 i5 8 gb RAM
when I change operating mode it constantly crashes.

RIGHT ! Your ELAD receiver may be the problem. That is why I sold MY ELAD Elad SDR receiver. SCR-Console works swell with all my other radios.

What happens if you do not use the external radio – switch off / disable?

If the external radio is power off everything works, if the external radio is online or does not responding it crashes.
With the old version this did not happen or rarely, is now constant. thanks ik5ivq |

I confirm that the cat connection works perfectly with all the other programs

I installed the new version 3.07, the program continues to crash when the external radio is online and I try to change mode or band. |

If the external radio is online or not responding when I change mode or band, the program crashes and not responding, I have to restart it.
The cat port with other programs is working properly.
The omnirig client communicates with the rtx.

Hello Simon,
This is to report on SDRC V3.0.8 This weekend I had in mind to take part to the ARI contest and so I reverted to the "usual" configuration, i.e. N1MM linked to SDRC via VSPM. Unfortunately (I might say) I installed V 3.08 believing nothing had changed compared to the previous version I was using (Build 1745 - 2019-02-08). Nothing seemed to work. I had a crash and the link between N1MM and SDRC was very unstable going on and off. For the crash I have a report but it is a huge file of 329 Mb. Please advise if I can send it to you via Filelink or similar FTP way.....May I use your address simon@... ? Also, as soon as I attempted to change the mode, the screen freezed but I still had the audio working. After a while the screen went white and I had to kill the program via the task mgr. It took me a while to realize that V 3.0.8 did not work properly with my Dell i5 with 8 Gb memory and SSD. See attached file for system info. I had to reinstall the previous build. In the mean time however the largest part of the contest was over. I tested further and found out that V 3.0.8 was working with my other computer, a Lenovo i5 also with 8Gb memory. See attached file for system info. I believe you did make some fundamental changes in V 3.0.8 that made it incompatible with my Dell. Perhaps you may have a look at this problem, for I find it a pity to scrap this laptop only because of V 3.0.8 ! |
