Most of the RTL SDR dongles will be using Q branch for Direct Sample, you have it on I branch have you tried switching. I still can't over the fact we are discussing HDSDR when the group is for SDR Co

OK, if you want to use the rtlsdr dongle you must hook to it correctly. The usual antenna port on the dongle will likely not work. But, sometimes you can run the gain way up and get weak reception on

I am tuning to 10.695mhz in the settings. I'm not tuning out your comments, you m following one piece info / suggestion at a time. If I did everything at once, I'd get nowhere fast. John

Is he even tuning to the correct frequency. He cites a frequency that is not one of the excessive number of IF frequencies in a TS2000. And I guess he tuned out my comments about using the rtlsdr at 1

Even for an rtlsdr dongle that is a pathetically narrow bandwidth. But, as you say, it has its advantage. {^_^}

They reckon 50KHz with 30 reasonably flat. But the TS2000 only uses that one IF common to all it's ranges. To do the job "properly" 2 or 3 IF taps are required. Or, use a SDR that will tune all freque

John, 12MHz seems correct, recommended for the 2nd IF. But as Joanne says you must have something that will receive reasonably well on 12MHz. A standard RTL dongle will not. Does yours? 73 Alan G4ZFQ
