Strange VLF signals
My aerial temporarily lost half the wire so signals are generally weaker now but I noticed two similar signals to the one at 16KHz. These are roughly centred around 8.37KHz and 10.6KHz and have crysta

RF Clipper Diode Design
If you get 30 to 40dB skirts from a tuneable bandpass filter wouldn't that do the job re 100W versus 120KW? You may need a 3-gang tuning 500pF capacitor and a set of carefully matched coils. Allan G3P

My SDR is brought back from the dead. I was using a scalpel on a circuit board from a label printer earlier today but alas I’m not licensed to do actual brains. I’ll ask around if it is not too urgent

You are right Simon. I updated Vipre and it turned a firewall on in place of the Windows firewall. I was just about to unscrew the lid and start brain surgery on the circuit board Many thanks Allan Fr

The Andrus SDR Mk1.5 has two antenna sockets and it would be useful to be able to select the second Simon; in the same way one can select Lime inputs, and perhaps couple this feature to the stations s
