Yes, that is an option. Indeed I use SDR# but it is not that efficient. Optimal would be to have the network protocol that was included in SDRC Version 1. I do understand, though, this is a feature for few people. I'm not sure if extra food for the dog can help... ---------------------- 73 de Max, N5NHJ (I8NHJ) Monday, December 14, 2020, 4:07:04 PM, you wrote:

MAP65 doesn't accept the audio output from the audio card, so it isn't just about BW. It works with IQ data, either from a sound card or through the network. ---------------------- 73 de Max, N5NHJ (I8NHJ) Monday, December 14, 2020, 1:05:35 PM, you wrote:

MAP65 reads any signal in a 90 kHz window and creates a kind of band map of everything decoded, you don't need to be on the exact frequency to decode. ---------------------- 73 de Max, N5NHJ (I8NHJ) Monday, December 14, 2020, 12:09:58 PM, you wrote:

Hi Simon,
ok thank you.
VAC does not work with proper bandwith.
With Linrad I am not happy.
If not possible, forget it.

Hello Simon I am not sure if this was discussed before. This is what happens. When I start the console, if the frequency is with offset (for oscar-100 rx) my waterfall has no visible signals even if it is set to the correct frequency.(there is white noise present) When I change the frequency to something else and return back to the first frequency, everything works. I recorded a screen capture at https://yadi.sk/d/sz8KuHXGRdksww In the first seconds, it is not visible but I am selecting rtl-srd radio.. Then you will see a spectrum without any signals after I change the frequency.

I ran out of time. I must contact Lief; the interface doesn’t seem to be documented.
Why not use WSJT and a VAC?

N2MS
Simon,
Thanks for the effort, especially the support for the RX-888. I enjoy viewing a wide spectrum and this SDR, along with your great software provides this ability.
For those considering the RX-888 it consumes lots of current so I would recommend connecting it directly to a USB-3 port. I tried to measure the current with USB power meter and the combination of additional connections and a current shunt caused erratic operation of the RX-888.
I sent some funds for Christmas cookies for you and your dog.
