Maybe you could make a wideband recording available. Some situation where you think notch filters would be beneficial. I would be happy to place that recording in the "SDR data file library" http://www.sm5bsz.com/rf_library.htm together with the loudspaker output of Linrad. (Please supply information about the station of interest and a file with the loudspeaker output you can get with the optimum settings of your current software.) Linrad-03.14 comes with a Windows installer: http://www.sm5bsz.com/linuxdsp/linrad.htm It can apply up to 9 notch filters to the baseband. 73 Leif / sm5bsz GA Simon as I have already asked a lot ;-))) |

You do it with a slider on HRD.. Maybe on the bottom with volume control area?

I am feeding the IF output from my K3 into a SoftrockLite and then using a computer running XP SP3 for Simon's V1.1 Build 360 #2.
I would like to correspond *OFFLIST* with anyone else using a similar setup. Why? Just to compare notes and settings. I don't want to take the list off topic, with all my newbie questions, about how and where/what to set things up. TIA GB & 73 K5OAI P.S. I can hear and tune stations just fine, but the difference in frequency readout from the rig to the software is confusing me...... |

On the dbm meter could we have the updating digits in dbm as opposed to S values ? Thanks for the console, works great in Win XP sp2 and Vista, no crashes since the last patch, very stable. Alan |

eh hehehe .It is just for tha sake of matter. Of course when the radio integration will be ready it should be easier. The Yaesu radios show the carrier freq. as all the beacons and time\freq transmitters are all on the exact freq. the BFO offset either SSB or CW is injected after the mixing stages. That is the offset I see between SDR_IQ and my rig. The need would be for an option to let the SDR freq in sync with the radio. For that reason it would be usefull&easier a sort of programmable shift in the SDR's software to let the two scales be on the same freq. 73 Phil

Hi,
Please - what mode are you using with the FT-1000? I seem to remember that there is some unique logic in the FT-1000 regarding frequency display.
When I get the HF Radio integration working properly you will be able to compensate for these offsets.

TOOLs RFSpace calibration with memories
ic8pof
Having used the SDR_IQ beside my SUPER FIELD for a while I have noted that changing the bands from one
to another the SDR_IQ is always OFF_tune even 1000Hz apart the FIELD's tuning scale. So it is a must to recalibrate to keep the 2 units iso-freq. Two options are still necessary to the above function: 1) 500Hz move + and - , 2) some sort of memory, one per band, so that when I\We go back from one band to another the calibration follows the band tuned. Even because when Simon will add the RIG support to the Console the tuning scales would need anyway to be resynchronized . 73 Phil |
