I use to have rx options data decoder and af spectrum outside the main window.
Spreaded in the corners, to have the main always ahead.

Those options windows stay always on top of the main window and make difficult to tune the radio.
Would be easier to let those windows go below the main when I make any movement on the main one and come again up when I need one of them.

The log-txt you have already, so will not pass again.

I have tried the Console also in full size on my mini-17" monitor, usually I have it on 3/4 of the monitor field to look at other programs too,
but the crash is always there.

I'm sorry Simon,

I was making myself very unclear as usual :-)
I see you can already switch input sources.

What I mean is two sets of receiver-settings, for instance:
-A local SDR-IQ functioning as a high resolution bandscope for a AR5000.
-A remote NetSDR functioning as Main HF receiver.

They would both require different settings for converter offset, waterfall resolution, IQ bandwidth, etc. Wouldn't they?

Or would running two instances of SDR-Radio be a better idea for this?

I realise I'm jumping to the rare&advanced possibilities right away :-)

Profile where - on the Console? If so, yes, I could add alternate profiles. What would you want to have different between these profiles? Easiest would be to just have them totally seperate.

 

I will have to do this for the server so I can run multiple servers on the same computer without messing about with settings etc.

Will you make it possible to easily switch between the profiles of these 2 receivers in SDR-Radio?

I'll look at the code. Once it's locked onto a signal it should then keep the frequency within a few hundred Hertz of this frequency. As time goes on I'll always improve the demoulation.

More information is always good, especially during development, and like much of what is offered in the software, it could be an optional display set by the user.

I tried the ECSS this morning, using the SDR-IP, and was impressed by the sound quality on JOUB, the Japanese station on 774 kHz, compared with my usual use of LSB/USB to demodulate rather weak overseas stations; it just had the occasional small pop in the quite readable audio using ECSS, apparently devoid of the domestic sideband splatter, which was still there when using USB.

However, am I correct in assuming the ECSS responds to the strongest carrier in a passband larger than what one sets in the filter? A few seconds later, it decided to lock on a domestic signal on 770 kHz, and nothing I could do would set it back onto 774kHz, which still had a good strength carrier, and delivered splattery audio when using USB.

yesterday 20m ssb spots were fine today they are all over the place but 17m

Any of these wrongly set might cause what you describe.
