I have a little pistol. It is made by Keltec. It shoots .380 caliber bullets. They call it the P3AT. Get it?

Using similar prosaic tricks, how about Ess-dee-ar Momentum, Ess-dee-ar Millenium, Ess-dee-ar Maximum.

-or- Esdeeare Momentum, Esdeeare Millenium …

-or- Essdee R1, Essdee R2, …

Nope - serious question here. What name(s) would you find appealing? Yaesu's FTDX... prefix is very good. Mind you, some names are based on the children, there was a big IBM mainframe app. which the guy names after his kids.

Name Suggestion

m3rdx

Maybe something like mountain ranges or similar would be nice maybe with your suffix

DRV-Everest
DRV-Fuji
DRV-Mont Blanc
or similar maybe even Swiss cities would be good

with either SDR-Zurich, SDR-Geneva or again DRV-Zurich, DRV-Geneva
something that signifies your country would be nice
so many choices i think maybe something very simple would be best ???
good luck Ian

Ok... that pretty much confirms this switch is not active yet...

So, Simon, please DO NOT dilute you current effort to look at this, ok?

There are many more important dragons to slay in this herculean development effort right now... and, as you once mentioned, a simple fix in one area can have unintended consequences in another.

Will be quite happy to wait for a more appropriate time in the process... :)

Thanks, Tom.

Here's what I've tried:

1. Input_source/stop; Input_source/Swap_IQ (toggle); Restart.

2. Above plus exit and restart app.

In both protocols 1 and 2 above, the toggle sticks but there is no change in
the I/Q processing... ie, the presentation is still reversed from normal.

Hi Simon,

Know you are busy chasing bugs at the moment... so just a quick question,
not an added feature request... :)

Is it possible for a user to somehow activate the Input_source/Swap IQ
button?

With an SDR-14, the presentation is backwards in the current
configuration.

Thanks.

OK,

I think I've fixed this - or at least changed the way it works and should now be what I originally wanted :)

Now to look at your crash dumps.

here is the screen shot showing the delay, almost 4 secs in the bandscope after the end-of-transmission in the waterfall&audio.
Using in parallel MMTTY with audio from my trx and DD from Console
to decode the same station.

As usual it is a MUST to know the equipments in use.
I think that the delay in the bandscope is related to the AF_Output_Queue size.
In fact playing with the Queue settings the bandscope follows quite soon the indication of the waterfall, but not in the same time.

Simon would confirm that?

Anyway there is still some differences in the visual indication from the Bandscope and the Waterfall\Audiooutput.

Maybe a sort of autosensing in the Bandscope to cancel the waveform as the signal disappears in the Waterfall ?

Don't worry :)

[Everyone - Phil has a much newer build I'm testing with him]

Thanks for all this feedback on the crashes - I am now attacking the Spectrum Scope line - I know exactly what's happening, just haven't had time to change the code yet. It's all to do with getting higher resolution in the display.
