SDR console/Spectravue IQ recordings
Ivan Dias
Hello!
Is there a way to open IQ recorded with SDR Console with Spectravue? For professional reasons, I would prefer to playback the recordings with Spectravue, but unlike the recordings done with Elad SW2 or HDSDR, the wav files recordings made with SDR console are invalid when I try to open with Spectravue. If it's not possible yet, would be really interesting option. Thank you. Ivan

Easy (I think),
The SDRUno 1.41 beta is not compatible with SDR Console. I’ll maybe install it tomorrow and see what needs doing, not I think I read somewhere that the 1.41 beta may change in the future.
Anyway, all I can suggest is restoring SDRUno 1.40.

Hi All,
I have been running my RSPdx with SDR Console 3.1 with no problem, after installing SDRUno 1.40, API 3.07, and creating the definition by searching SDRPlay V3. Now when I install SDRUno 1.41 beta, with its new API 3.08, the instruction is to use V2 for now as the new code, I assume API 3.08, is not compatible with SDR Console V3 yet. However, when I search to create a new definition using SDRPlay V2, my RSPdx is detected, but it comes up as an SDRDuo and the controls in SDR Console are wrong. If I search using V3, the RSPdx is detected, but the radio will not start. I reinstalled SDRUno 1.40 and everything works as it did again with the V3 definition, but I find that a search using V2 also results in an SDRDuo definition, so this is not directly related to the SDRUno 1.41 beta. I have reinstalled SDR Console, but the problem still occurs. The info in the definition screen (attached) implies that the dll being used is for 2.13 which does not support RSPdx? Do I have the wrong dll somehow? Any other ideas or things to check? Thanks, John

i have an easy thing for you :-) you can "delete" tx voice keyer from your todo list https://www.sdr-radio.com/Future ... cause we now have one (that works quite well!!) greetz sigi dg9bfc Am 14.08.2021 um 07:22 schrieb Simon

The scrolling banner could use a little editing. It still thinks 3.1 is a prospective release. On 20210813 22:20:52, Simon Brown wrote:

Indeed,
Pluto alone is the way to go. I’ll be 64 soon, no more mayor software headaches please – brain can’t handle it 😊 .

yes maybe youz could start sdrc 2 times and marriage them via virtual comporst and commander but in my view its much easier to just use the pluto alone dg9bfc sigi Am 13.08.2021 um 21:24 schrieb jdow:

From OP: Re: CSVUserList Browser Question
rmrrgs <rgsrose@...>
Hi,
My thinking was to use it in "reverse". It has the feature where it will try to ID the station you are tuned to from it's database, and pull up the appropriate line of data for displaying. It works quite well in this mode, and is really helpful There would then be no need, if used in this mode, for a lot of lines. I was wondering it it could show across the width at the bottom, e.g., with a vertical dimension of only 2 or 3 CSVULB lines. Regards, Bob

There's so much info in the CSVUB windows I would not have thought it would be very practical even if it could be done?

Still, I am afraid Simon will follow thinking a
little like mine. While a tool like SDRC can be designed from the
bottom up without presumptions of "same clock" and the like,
changing an existing design is probably not in the cards.

A few minutes of thought suggest it is technically possible to crank the design of something like SDRConsole around to allow different RX and TX conversion stages (front end/back end respectively.) I am not sure that it is technically feasible without a design contemplating this from the very beginning. It breaks just a whole LOT of normal starting conditions for the design of an existing tool. I'm afraid you are stuck with the hard way in the first paragraph above. {^_^} On 20210813 10:41:21,

use the pluto for rx and tx either install a better tcxo inside or use external reference dg9bfc sigi Am 13.08.2021 um 19:41 schrieb
