I found the "reset" and deleted the reg... reload the program and now V.3 working FB... Any other Ideas that could work better?Having your SDR and PC grounded is not as important as having a balanced antenna on the input, which is DC isolated from the SDR by a balun. You need to keep the noise from the PC away from the antenna. The idea of the balun is to stop the hash travelling up the coax braid to the antenna. The hard thing is setting up a balanced antenna indoors. If you can't put up an outside dipole or end-fed wire, then next best is an indoor loop antenna. A well made loop (eg balanced and/or shielded) will ignore the electric component (eg noise) and only respond the horizontal component (eg signal). And of course most loop antennas include an isolated coupling loop to break any DC path.. Earthing the PC and SDR will also help, but only if you have a quiet earth connection and an isolating balun. If not, it can actually make things worse. My most successful antenna is a long outside wire which is coupled to my SDR via a nine-to-one isolating balun. ......Zim

Grounding SDRPlay RSP2

Hi all Just got my new RSP2 and want to ground it. I live in condo so outdoor is not allowed. I have a wire strung around the room via the P jack and tried jumper from N-G which helped minimally. Now I have wire run from G to a metal shelving unit and seems better (Finally able to get WWV on 15Mhz). Any other Ideas that could work better? Have a scanner ant hooked to A working fine Just got my new RSP2 and want to ground it. I live in condo so outdoor is not allowed. NetSDR Settings - LNA, Mixer, VGA

Hello, I'm running the Version 3 Feb 21 2017 Preview, 64 bit with my RFSpace NetSDR. LNA, Mixer, and VGA settings do not appear to be functioning. RF Gain does. Is this "normal" or am I missing something? I know it's a preview so I'm guessing it's the former and not the latter. Don't see the need for a screenshot in this case; other than this the software seems to be working beautifully with this SDR. Thanks, Scott

Where does SDR V3 expect to find omnirig. I am getting a message on start up that omnirig is not available and directing me to the omni rig site. I use omni rig successfully with WIN4K3 and LOG40M and have no problems with these programs locating it. Thank you for any suggestions. Mike

Hi - recentliy I tested the combo of Airspy and SpyVerter with "our" software on HF in some detail.
I was very much surprised by the performance of this 10-bit SDR with up to 10 MHz width. My hands-on test covers broadcast (including DRM), as well as utility radio. Hi Bob, I think you have to "double up" things.
Define 2 Consoles, eg. Identity 5 and 6. Each having their separate FCDP+ and VAC cables, eg. 1 and 2. Start CW Skimmer 2 times, giving each their separate VAC cables, 1 and 2. This is just my guessing as I do not have CW Skimmer. I also do remember there is some CAT involved :-) Good luck and have fun. LB6YD Gaute

How to use two Funcube FCDP+ with V3 ?

I have been trying to use two Funcube Dongles so CWSkimmer could read two bands. I tried V3 , which works quite well reading EITHER FCDP+ ..
However, I want to read two bands at a time in the CW portions since I have two FCD's. I can't seem to get V3 to control two FCD at the same time. She'll read and change one but not be able to "Start" the other Rx of the other Dongle. If I STOP the other then I can STGART the second Funcube Dongle Win7/64 , fwiw. Where am I missing this?
