I also have experienced this volume zeroing issue with N1MM+, and have verified that it still exists in Not Preview 6.

I'm using the most recent version of N1MM+ on Windows 10, with a RSP2 Pro.

The only difference I noticed from Carl's report is I'm using a faster bps rate, 57600.

Hi all,
I'm new to SDR Console and new to this group. I would like to run SDR Console V3 with my ELAD FDM-DUO. When I first tried to do so it seemed that SDR Console does not support FDM-DUO. I tried to connect by chosing the FDM S2 in SDR Console V3 but it didn't work. I just want to check with you guys if SDR Console does not support the FDM-DUO or if I'm doing something wrong.

Simon,
That fixed the mute issue. Now another. I created a VSPE connector virtual serial port for N1MM logger plus. I called it com 10 and set the baud to 38400 on both ends.
It tracks frequency ok, but it zeros out the volume on Not preview 6. I manually increase it and it automatically
zeros out again. Any ideas?

I think that applies to several other Yaesu transceivers, notably the FT-817.  I currently use two of them; for transmit and the second one for receive...an FT-1634!

Hello!

 

I just started with satellites and i have high hopes of sdr-console tracker. I have Yaesu 991 and have used it couple of days standalone without computer aid for satellite comm. Not easy at all..  

 

Does current version track only active VFO frequency? It would be helpful if i can set that VFO-A is downlink and VFO-B is uplink for example and i can set that tracker corrects transmit frequency of one of them or even both rx and tx.

If using dongle for receive then correction of only active VFO is ok but in case of VFO-A/B cross band split operation i need VFO-B correction.

 

I can be very wrong because i am rookie in satellite work so please excuse me!

I have the elad fdm s2 connected to the rf out on the ftdx3000. so I use the elad for receive and the

ftdx3000 for transmit, with vspe omnirig and Not Preview 6. I cannot detect any issues with the software

with the exception of the mute. There is a slight delay --enough to let some audio through that shows up

on the spectrum and sounds a bleep. This is not new. It would improve the T/R function if you could issue

a mute command to the elad directly.

Otherwise it looks great, operates very well on cw.

my hardware is tooo slow

and damned windows 7 64 system has already 50% cpu load with just the bare desktop running ... grmbl

upgrading from xp to 7/64 and i have both feet standing on the brake pedal

The only "issue" I've encountered so far, is a monster volume increase when in the FM broadcast band.�

Went back to 5A just after sending report.
