I went back and did that (missed it the first time) and still got the invalid code. So I’m probably too late.
Thanks for the help.

Re: ICOM IC-7410 with RSP2 Pro and SDR Console V3 build 940

Hello, This is just to thank Simon for his nice software and to report on my setup. Im' using an ICOM IC-7410 and an SDRPlay RSP2 Pro as a second receiver (no IF output but a receiving antenna). The tx/rx is linked to V3 via Omnirig. I selected IC-7410v2 on
Omnirig and not TS-200. The baudrate is 19200 and the poll and
timeout are both 100ms. The tracking is perfect. Everything works
nicely. The only hick I've is with the Icom usb driver. It
stubbornly chooses the Codec Audio as a default when starting
the computer and I've to switch manually if I want the
audio output from the laptop loudspeakers. I'll have to
install a DAC to work with my external speakers....or buy usb
speakers. The laptop is a Dell XPS Core I5 2410M - 2.3 GHz with Windows 10 and only 4 GB of Memory. NVIDIA GeForce GT525M (I know its an old computer) Most of the time the CPU runs at aro 20% max. Again thanks to Simon. I'll provide some more food for his dog. 73 to all Ezio M. Insinna -K3EK / F5MWA |

Hi Natalia. Depending on your receiver.
Here with Airspy R2 and the Spectrum Spy software included in the SDR# installation. Screenshots attached, one with full scan, and one with 1GHz scan. The antenna is just a 2m. 5/8 mobile whip on my veranda. LB6YD Gaute |

Making the "Cable Output" the system default made it all come together on my setup.
Hope this may help, Larry |

yes ... there is a software from nuts about nets (touchstone) that takes an rtl dongle and samples the whole area (if needed from 24 megs to 1.8 gig) in 2 megs chunks and stitches them together on one big scan ... but scanning such a big area takes some time ..... there was also a scanning plugin for sdrsharp that does the same
thing .. scanning a bigger area as "chunks" dg9bfc sigi

In External Radio Options, Frequency section , I have selected Bandwidth to Default . ( I'm guessing you must have set this to 50 kHz ). This allows me to set and keep any span using the bottom slider. My set up is similar to yours except I have an SDR-IQ on the IF output of the FT-2000 instead of RSP, but that should make no difference . I have attached a screenshot to help explain . 73, Malcolm EI8FH -------- Original message --------

I can change the span with the bottom slider, but if I click on a signal, the span jumps back to +/-25khz (seems to be the default). Also if I change the setting via Home/Frequency ie. to 7.150 +/-50khz, this setting is not permant, a click on a signal changes the span to +/- 25khz. Im using SDR Radio via Omnirig (FT-2000) and an RSP1 (IF out from FT-2000). Thanks! |

Hi Chris, I am running this setup. See screenshot.
Running fine with my NUC i5, 4th gen. Win 7 Home Premium, 64bit. Decodes audio quite well. The DSDplusv1.10 shortcut is pointing to a CMD file with setup for the DSD program. Also "watching" the terrible ISM part of the UHF band :-) Have fun. LB6YD Gaute |

Christopher Warren <christopherlwarren@...>
Hi all . Thank you for all your replies. At least I know it is not something I am doing wrong. At the moment I am using a quad core 1.67Ghz processors and 64 bit windows 7. So i may need more umff? To get it working. Btw the repeater is with a mile of my Qth. And i have already made it work with SDR#. But i really wished it would work with SDR Console which i prefer. Whilst I am on the subject. I downloaded ver3 and I cannot find the memory icon, which according to the manual is next to the favourites icon. Has it moved? Thanks again. De Chris. |

Re: Microphone icons
What fixed this for me was to turn off all the Geforce Experience functions:
When SDRConsole is running, press Alt-X to bring up the Geforce Experience window. Make sure all of the functions are turned off. (there should be a slash through the microphone icon and camera icon) Then exit the window. I'm running Geforce driver 388.13 on a GTX 950. - Armand KI7J |

Christopher, I use sdr-console with rtl dongle r820t, or any tuner compatible with sdr-console, and VAC. The signal must be strong in order to decode, any weak signal will not decode or decode with many drop-outs losing audio continously. A strong signal is a must.

I have gotten SDR Console to work with DSD plus and the last time I’ve used DSD plus I believe I had SDR console running. But that is not to say that I didn’t experience problems and the easiest working solution for me was to use SDR sharp. Especially since it has a plug into launch DSD plus. Doesn’t work with the fast lane version but that’s nor here or there right now. I always chalked it up as not having enough CPU power because DSD+ need some horse power and so does SDR Console. So I figured when I was having problems the DSD plus app just couldn’t properly decode because of CPU bandwidth. I am also a subscriber to DSD plus fastlane where they send you the latest version of the DSD plus program, and if you don’t have that version you might want to send them the little fee to get the latest and greatest. I added a second soundcard. No VAC and no messing with settings. Stereo mix can also be very useful.
