Re: Filtro notch
Notch FiltersNotch filters are a highly selective, high-Q, form of the band stop filter which can be used to reject a single or very small band of frequencies rather than a whole bandwidth of different frequencies. For example, it may be necessary to reject or attenuate a specific frequency generating electrical noise (such as mains hum) which has been induced into a circuit from inductive loads such as motors or ballast lighting, or the removal of harmonics, etc. |

Hey Guys, I am interrested in decode satellite images and have a question about the satellite recieve part of sdr-console. When I switch on the right side of the surface there is a pass list that shows the next visible satellites. Is it possible that the software automatically activates the next visible satelite from the pass list and switchs to the right frequency? I need this for APT- and LRPT-Satellite decoding with Wxtoimg. Thank you for help.

Re: How to setup a Griffin Powermate in SDR console
Dennis Smith
Is this a USB HID device? If Windows recognizes it as a HID device you could use a program called HIDmacro (http://www.hidmacros.eu/download.php download version 2.3) When you run it it doesn't install, and the first time you run it it must be run as administrator or it will crash. Set it up to perform whatever action you want, and thats it. On this topic this application is amazing and really useful for running macros in ANY application such as saying "CQ CQ M1DLG" or any other repetitive blocks of text (or code) if you wish. It's developer has stopped developing it but has made it open source, so if you want, you can continue the work on this great tool. How to setup a Griffin Powermate in SDR console
I have seen a ham made video you tube in which a (low cost) Griffin powermate was has been as Tuningknob in SDR console.
So far I managed to get the Griffin software running in Win7/64 but due to lack of software skills that is as far as I got. I need to to enter the correct informations in the power mate setup. Are thre any readers in this group using a Griffin powermate with SDR Console, if so are there any tips or hints how to get it working? 73, Charly, DF5VAE |

Re: Pre-preview 6 Kit, June 7th 2017
Hi Ken,
I thought at first glance my powermate installation failed as well under In7/64 - uninstalled and installed a few times but no VISIBLE result. Actually the installation was ok, there is no feedback - so more accidently I found the hidden powermate icon right lower edge of the screen and set it to display permanetly. I am not really familiar with the settings, but installation of the Griffin driver (vista compatibility) was all ok. Just nedd some help to setup. 73 Charly, DF5VAE |

Sorry for the somehow "round about" answer. As a member of the test team I love to mess around with the Console to better understand what works and what does not :-) Amazing what you can learn from it. The straight forward procedure for changing the frequency of the favourite is: 1: Change the frequency 2: Change whatever needed settings 3: Click Update In the Organise you may change the name of the favourite if needed. If needed you may also add one or more receivers for the favourite from Receive/Add Beware: The add button in Favourites are for adding a new Favourite. The yellow star is just indicating a favourite. A link for the V3 build 845 may be found in a posting from Simon on date july 20. 2017 in this group. If you like to play with these things without messing up your previous definitions you can do this in an unused Identity. There are 10 of those available. Good Luck LB6YD Gaute |

Re: Problem with SDRConsole
paul newcombe <G6YZC@...>
Hi Carl,
I will play with my SDRC ANAN tomorrow, my Sunday QRL wise as I work a day behind, and see if I can work out why I have had a simular problem with the really stable RTL. I reduced the BW of the RTL and it worked fine. You may want to try that with the ANAN jast as an ititial test. I seem to remember there were a couple of options for BW in SDRC when you are selecting the RX.
I will say stick with it as I have found SDRC is the way to head with the ANAN. As Simon says it is not yet completed with all the features he intends to add but what are there work smoothly. Especially setting the different waterfall resolutions. I would love to see Thetis introduce the same method rather than just continuing the clumsy method from PWRSDR. Again I like PWRSDR and Thetis with the exception of that one part.

I now have an ANAN 100D. I flashed it with protocol 2. It is working fine with Thetis. But it only stays operational with SDRConsole for about 5 seconds and then SDRC quits operating it. I found out my router does not work with 1 gigabit. So I connected the 100D directly to my ethernet card that does handle 1 gigabit. I then connect to my router via WIFI for internet operation. Windows list WIFI as the first adapter and the ethernet card as the second adapter. Do you have any ideas why SDRC does not work with it but Thetis does? PennyWhistle Kit
Rob Ram
Hello,
Looking for advise. Has anyone built the PennyWhistle Kit. This is a low power 16 to 20 Watt amplifier. The output stage is a single stage amplifier that uses a pair of TO-220 "16 Watt" Mitsubishi RD16HHF1 parts in push pull and has approximately 19 dB gain, depending where you bias it, so it will deliver 16 to 20 watts output with 1/4 watt drive. Specifically: 1. Any trouble with thermal or excessive heating. 2. Unwanted emissions. 3. Drive problems. 4. Low pass filter issues. I want to use my own lpf rather than the one designed for the PennyWhistle amplifier. I do not need the rx bpf, my direct sampling sdr radio provides very high dynamic range with its 16 bit adc. Only problem is the tx out is 0 dbm, need 24 db more gain before the PennyWhistle. Any suggestions welcome. Robert WA2ELZ |
