RTTY signals are on LSB. Since your radio is on USB is why you need REV.

I just got a chance to install the new version on my primary i7 computer. I installed over the older kit installation & everything is working perfectly, as far as I can tell. I'll install the same way on my i5 tomorrow, if I have time. Both computers have access to Cloud-IQ radios on my LAN & both computers are running 64 bit versions of Windows 10 Pro.

So - the console is 'so small' because it's all the screen space I'm giving it ... I have other screens I want to see as well ...
and we don't all have multiple 4K monitors to play with  ( no matter what we aspire to :-)  )

If it helps ...
the problem exists when the console is run at full screen also ...
it persists even after a full reset of identities and registry ...
the number of receivers appears not to be a factor

however, what seems to trigger it is how I pull up the top bar ...
if I use a single click ( the auto-dismiss method ) then the problem occurs almost every time
if I use the double-click method ( locking the bar until dismissed ), it works fine - or at least, for the number of times I've tested it so far.

Hope that helps shed some light on the mystery

Pete.

Just ordered mine.

I wonder how how it will compare with my CloudIQ, which I use as a panadapter/alternate receiver to my 7600 (mostly use SDR receive at this point).
Im quite happy with the CloudIQ but I couldn’t resist ordering after reading Simon’s positive comments on the HF+ pre prod units.

Cloud IQ with latest V3

HERB KEATON N2GEW

I am trying to set-up an ACER laptop w Windows 7, 64. The specs seem OK
I already have a Windows 7 machine running V2 and Windows 10 running laptop on the previous version of V3.

With the newest V3 on the ACER, I was unable to "detect" the Cloud IQ via search function, so I went to configure this manually. I noticed there was an option for "Cloud IQ "in the radio setup function. So I tried to attach my Cloud-IQ, but eventually got the message that it had to be defined as either NetSDR or SDR-IP.

I cannot get the program to start the Cloud IQ as I get a time out (5-seconds). And that using either NetSDR or SDR-IP which are the only options I see.

Has anyone "been there, done that"?

Re: Strange behavior after running calibrate

Carl Moreschi <n4py3@...>

Hi Simon,

Here's a screen shot that just happened. Actually calibrate was not needed. I send 14.200 from my program and SDRConsole went here fine. I then clicked my band button for 18 khz, and all was fine. I then clicked my band button for 21.221 mhz and got the attached screen shot. So apparently SDFRplay went to 21.221 for RX 1 and the display is still showing 18 mhz.

Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Simon,

My SDRplay was a little off frequency so I pulled up the calibrate screen.
All worked well.

However, after running calibrate, the displayed panadapter and waterfall for
receiver 1 would not follow what band I was on. I could switch to a
different band and the receiver was working there but the display was still
centered on the previous band.

It looks like some setting is not cleared after a calibrate. I exited and
restarted and all was well.

What RTTY are you trying to decode.

Have you tried any other software. MultiPSK or Ham Radio Deluxe. They
both work very well. Multipsk is free for amateur modes and DWD rtty.

I use Multipsk a lot. It takes a little while to get used to it but it

This is not a new issue...has been this way for a while. If I start SDR Console and the radio is on a different frequency than the console was previously on I end up with two different frequencies displayed. This is with the SDR radio tracking parallel to the real radio using the same antenna.

Hi Simon,

W7/64 here , VCRuntime140.dll installed ;

with my RSP2, I note an occasional anomaly - clicking on Bandwidth in the top ribbon brings up a pop-up with the text ' Dummy ' in it, ( see attached )
clicking on bandwidth a 2nd time can cause one of three outcomes ...
1. the bandwidth selection appears correctly, and then works, or
2. a Windows pop-up appears saying the program has stopped working, or
3, most of the SDR GUI vanishes, leaving the top ribbon and the 'Please Wait ... ' associated with SDR exiting with error.

Other than that, seems to be working ok.

Cheers,
Pete.
