No start: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode 353.06
Nils Schiffhauer
Hi - running rusty Windows 8.1 on a Samsung laptop 700Z, I cannot start SDR Console V3.
The screen flickers, and a message pops up regarding problems with "NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode 353.06". Then the laptop boots again. No luck in starting V3. No problem with SDR-Consol V2, however. Anyone encountering the same? Thanks & 73: Nils -- 73 Nils, dk8ok.org |

Hi, Albert! Yes. DC correction switch you can find them in the "Radio Configuration > Options > DC Offset checkbox". Need restart radio.

Re: LimeSDR DC Offset
Paul, UA9XJA,
With my Lime I always see a (known SDR IQ generated infamous) Spike on the Center Freq. No way to get this spike down (Simon once told me this a Lime issue ( I don’t have this e.g. with My SDRplay) and the only hands-on solution I found using the Satellite module (which is my main interest) is to create a frequency difference between the demodulation frequency and the Center Freq (where my Spike is) of the satellite I wish to track and Telemetry demodulate. This makes me keep away from the ugly Spike distortion.
For obvious reasons in many cases I prefer the SDRplay (also as filtering is/ turns out / seems better as with the wideband Lime.
I’m not sure if this is what you discuss . Plse comment. PS ref : DC correction is ON and conspicuous peak IF DC correction is OFF… Are these V3 buttons ?? If yes where can I find these ?

I found the same, adjusting the gain is about the best you can get, change per bands etc until it levels out, and always tune off the center so to avoid and distortion from the correction algorithm, same if most software for DC, same on my Lime, SDRPlays and RTL's

Hi!
My LimeSDR has black hole in the center of the scale if DC correction is ON and conspicuous peak IF DC correction is OFF. Can i fine tune the DC Offset and save this to "ini" file for best result? 145.5 MHz for example 73! Vit. RT6M |

Hi,
Changed to use latest github code with Lime Mini support, but the github code has the normal LimeSDR support removed ☹ .

Re: HackRF Tuning Backwards
#hackrf
James,
The bar at the bottom controls the radio – this is the visible span/bandwidth, so sliding it to the right will result in the receiver (1, green) moving to the left.
I do recommend using a bigger display.

Using the latest version 3 I find that the HackRF tunes in reverse. When I slide the bottom bar up band the receiver tunes down band and reverse. I have a video if that would help It tunes fine with a simple RTL receiver |
