Re: New Website Goes Live - {^_^}
Can you return the map and list of servers for the ol' Ver1.5???
Can't tell if all my servers are online unless I remotely connect to three different netbooks running as servers. One click was way easier than TeamViewer method. Kriss KA1GJU |

Re: Preview 7 is Available
Hi,
*Please* don’t post with a yellow background – it’s hard to read ☹ .
You said the installation was unsuccessful but it ran for two seconds? If the installation did not finish then you probably did not download the whole program.
If you started the Console then look at the support page: http://www.sdr-radio.com/Support
From your previous e-mails I think you may have a problem or two with your computer?

OK, this morning I went back to this. The old version runs smoothly, v3 build 811 64bit . I downloaded the last version, tried to install it unsuccessfully. It runs maybe two seconds, then finishes and stop. No messages, nothing. I do not remember where to find a log of this installation, to see what happened. Somebody may indicate me this? Thanks. I lost my old version, that was OK ; the new will not run: no radios found! I disinstalòled it all, and then reinstalled it: now it want to reinstall a Visual C++ redistributable that's already there, and stops.Microsoft site seems to have that anymore ... Now I have no SDR 3 installed at all ... Amen. Will try again tomorrow, maybe. GN, Augusto HB9TZA Il 23/10/2017 19:27, Ray Lyford ha scritto:

I tried to download the 64b /Ms version; does not run. Downloaded and tried the 32 , installs OK, and runs a version 3 build 811 on an I5-6600 SSD Desktop with NVIDIA GTX1050 and 2 monitors; OS Windows 10pro,64 ; v.14393 . Is the v3 build 811 the last one, freshly released? Thanks. Augusto HB9TZA

Besides having to tell Norton the download wasn't a problem, the 64 bit installation went very smoothly. Looks very solid which doesn't surprise me in the least.

I'm not sure if this is a false positive, but I'm getting Windows Defender saying there is a virus in the 64bit installer downloaded using the Google link on the download page. I'm doing a full scan now. -Freeman, N5FPP On Mon, Oct 23, 2017 at 3:51 PM, Augusto <hb9tza@...> wrote:

Re: Preview 7 is available

Loaded preview 7 64bit without a hitch.
I noticed your comment that IF might work, so I tried the IF out (9 mhz) of the ftdx5000. I was able to connect to the external radio using the add on scu17 dual uart and support software VSPE and Omnirig. Elad s2 was the sdr. The connection fired up as an external radio. I was able to click on the frequency readout and successfully scrolled the frequency. What didn't work was point and click on the spectrum/waterfall. The spectrum moved in strange ways and was essentially unusable. Looks like progress. Nice work Simon Carl |
