Re: Server Issues? I have not been able to log on to any remotes?
Timeout after 2 seconds is due to a Firewall blocking traffic either in the router or on the computer hosting the server. Don’t forget antivirus software will have firewalls as does Windows.
The Router needs to have a port open and forwarding to the hosting computer, which will have to have a fixed IP not automatically assigned. 73 Kriss KA1GJU |

LAN server works. The audio is fine at home, but it's not connecting to SDRSpace per the following. If I ping the host it doesn't reply.

Re: Server Issues? I have not been able to log on to any remotes?
k6msm@...
Well, riddle me this. The NFM audio on this other station (KJ4SPG) was the same, low and distorted, but the audio-only recording provided clear, good audio. And here's a screen cap showing it's not a poor signal issue and I confirmed it wasn't a local station as the recording proved it certainly wasn't from the Los Angeles area.
Must be something on my work install. Do I need to install the driver of the remote SDR or something? I will try more at home. Mike K6MSM |

Re: Server Issues? I have not been able to log on to any remotes?
k6msm@...
Roger, but I tried another server that does have a VHF/UHF antenna and the signals are strong and clean, but the FM audio is weak and garbled. SSB audio was ok on yours on HF.
I'm trying to set up my own station, but seem to be stuck in the firewall as I can't get in and it doesn't appear on SDRSpace. I'll try on the LAN when I get home to make sure that works first. Mike K6MSM |

I only just discovered this today, so I apologize.
On FM, I only get a very low crackling sound over the server, even in the presence of strong ham FM signals. Maybe I should try setting up my own to test. |

How do I close my sessions properly? I'm not on any, but it says "maximum sessions is 2 for each IP address," but I have no sessions right now. |

Odd.
I see the Bias-T is on (best switch it off) – but this is odd, please show me the logfile. I think a change I made today has resulted in the server being unstable, must look at this now.
