Re: Help wanted with database; change content of a column
Kees van Engelen
Hello Simon,
In the ILG import, there are several. See screenshot. Do you know a way how to import another column (the additional remarks colmun with mode-information like "stanag 8245 600p") I managed that with v2.3 but that hasn;t got the nice brown coloring when tuned to that frequency. Can you say something about that as well, please.... ? Thanks 73 Kees PA3KVE |

I have 2 Limes to work with. One on a Udoo X86 Ultra & a t-5500 12 core/72 gigs of ram & a good graphics card. Both USB3. I am more than willing to Beta test anything. Thank you, Ed |

Wish List items For Freq. Mgr.
rmrrgs <rgsrose@...>
Hello,
New user. Wonderful program. For the "Wish List," or if there is already some way of doing it if I missed, please tell me how: 1. For the Filter Function in the Freq. Mgr., add a way to filter by Time 2. Have the freq list (eibi, e.g.) be sorted/sortable such that Time is in the first column, and you can go to a particular station on the basis of clicking on a "Time". Thanks, Bob |

While v2.3 is working OK with this, I almost think it's a bug in v3. BTW: Is this the right place to "report" bugs? Sorry, but I am not sure....:-) 73 Kees PA3KVE |

Re: Lime
Hi Ed,
Been away for a few days. I will try the LimeUSB and get TX working properly very soon.

Is there any way to get the version that had TX for the LimeSDR USB? Even if I have to back down the firmware, I am willing. My project is built & I would like to use your software. |

Re: DX4WIN & SDR RAdio
OK,
I will check this. I also saw that DX4WIN is probing (requesting) VFO-B and not VFO-A.

According to the TS-2000 CAT specs the return length of IF; should be 38 (including ;) |

SDR Console V2 RAW Audio Output
Hi i have been using SDR Console for a while, first V1 (only through SDRSpace), then got my HackRF and started to use V2
then V2 added ability to stream network radios and I wanted to listen to AM Stereo in V1 I set Data USB Mode and extended it and then I could tune to AM in SoDira: here is a picture: http://shrani.si/f/1J/bm/2unmCqch/brez-naslova2.png but in V2 I am not able to do that anymore, if I select USB Wide or USB Data, the audio is wierd and I don't know why it does not send non-modulated audio through VAC as V1 did, so I can't listen to AM Stereo through SoDira anymore I would use V1 but unfortunately there is almost nothing on there anymore (every online radio that I used has switched to V2) (I wonder if there is a proxy that could proxy V2 radio to V1, so I could use it again?) So if anyone could help me on how to listen to AM with Sodira with SDR Console V2 I would realy appreciate that, or is there any RAW output that I missed something like SDRSharp has Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards |

You can just create a second VFO in SDR console and everything will work as well. Never had a problem here in this regard, I use DX4WIN to control SDR Console and the External radio SDR's feature to control my ICOM so that everything is synchronized. ---------------------- 73 de Max, N5NHJ (I8NHJ) Sunday, October 14, 2018, 7:55:28 PM, you wrote: Hello Henry, I followed your idea, and I have drawn the following conclusion: - The TS-2000X.rig file is for communicating DX4WIN with the SDR Console CAT. - SDR Console is working with RSP1A of SDRplay and this hardware does not have VFO B. - The TS-2000X.rig file is made for the Kenwood TS-2000 transceiver that has two VFOs. - I follow Henry's idea and delete this: [RC-Read VFO B] CSTR = FB; CDELAY = 0 LEN = 14 LOC = VFO B I check and a big surprise, now everything works fine !!!!!!! When will it be worked on? Last estimate was 3rd quarter & that is past. Please let me know if I should just give up on it. Thank you, Ed |

Hello Henry,
I followed your idea, and I have drawn the following conclusion: - The TS-2000X.rig file is for communicating DX4WIN with the SDR Console CAT. - SDR Console is working with RSP1A of SDRplay and this hardware does not have VFO B. - The TS-2000X.rig file is made for the Kenwood TS-2000 transceiver that has two VFOs. - I follow Henry's idea and delete this: [RC-Read VFO B] CSTR = FB; CDELAY = 0 LEN = 14 LOC = VFO B
I check and a big surprise, now everything works fine !!!!!!!
The final conclusion, I rename TS-2000X.rig by SDR_RSP1A.rig and erase everything that has to do with VFO B.
Thank you very much Henry and Simon.
Now DX4WIN is able to work with SDR Radio and RSP1A (as panadapter of my FTDX-5000). And we know how to do it, fantastic!

I do not understand either. When DX4WIN queries VFO with IF; it should be able to read frequency and mode from the reply. Except for mode SAM where SDRConsole returns a two digit value which results in a wrong reply lenght of 39 instead of 38. But SAM normally is not the mode hams use.
