If you let me know your email address, I will forward it to you. I will do some testing tonight but I will be of limited help if things don't work! Just copy omnirig.exe into your usual Omnirig directory. 73 Phil M0VSE

I hit the same wall with OmniRig so would be very happy to give your compilation a whirl. 73, Clive G4KCM

I have compiled a binary but haven't had a chance to test it, let me know if you want to give it a go. He seems to have added quite a few transverter specific features as well which look quite good (if they work!) 73 Phil M0VSE

SDR-Radio V3 stops after short time
After reading the article SDR Console - SDR-Radio.com Release: 3.0.4 January 28, 2019 by Simon Brown on CQ_NRW, I want to test the Software. I am currently running an ANAN 200D with PA Rev. 16 with FW Protocol 2 Version 1.5 and THETIS V 2.6.2. The installation of SDRConsole version 3.0.5 Build 1413 worked fine. When searching for devices, the ANAN 200D was immediately recognized with the option BoardType = 4. Radio Start, everything runs for about 30 to 45 seconds, after that the display for spectrum and waterfall as well as the demodulation stops. The software itself should still continue. I tested with 2 computers with WIN 10 and one with WIN7, no changes. Also no changes when using SDR Console Vversion 6. 3.0.4 build 1374 or 3.0.6. The SDR console works perfectly with the FUNcube Dongle Pro +. Is this problem known to you? Can someone help me?

Sreenshots, re-send
Ken Alexander
Hi Simon, I thought this might have gotten lost in a stack of replies so I am re-sending to insure it didn't get lost in the shuffle. Ken ------------------------------------ Hi Simon, OK, this is interesting. A little more research shows that the waterfall on Console and the display in File Analyzer are flipped left-to-right. Or, one of them is anyway. Screenshot-A -- a zoomed in look at 1359 kHz. Note the transmitter starting and the carrier gradually drifting onto the correct frequency over the course of 10 minutes. Also note how the vertical carriers are arranged. Screenshot-B -- the view on Console over about 6 minutes. Note the arrangement of the vertical carriers is reversed and the new carrier is drifting in from the right, not the left as shown in the File Analyzer display. Note that the frequency display (1358.981 kHz) in Console was set when I clicked on the beginning of the trace in File Analyzer. Screenshot-C -- the carrier finally stabilizes on approx 1359 after about 10 minutes as the File Analyzer display shows. Screenshot-D -- this is just to show the frequency the drifting carrier started (1358.019 kHz) on in the Console waterfall. Interestingly the frequencies of the starting point of the drifting carriers are mirror images around 1359 kHz; +/- 0.019 kHz. I don't know which display to believe. RX: Airspy HF+, recently calibrated using a Leo Bodnar GPS disciplined oscillator. SDR Console -- 3.0.6, Build 1443, March 10, 2019 I still can't calibrate Console to either my calibrated HF+ or to my SDRPlay RSPduo with GPSDO attached. The (+) or (-) 0.001 ppm buttons don't work until you click them about 3 or 4 times. Then the display changes more than a single click of either 0.01 ppm button. This has been a source of frustration for me because I want to contribute to the Mediumwave Offset community but can't trust any of my measurements because of the calibration issue. What kind of screenshot do you want for this. Let me know and I'll do it tonight. Many thanks! Ken Alexander

Like I said, it's a non-issue now but it revealed that the bug info screen is completely obscured by the splash screen, and is never visible in this sort of scenario.

No the new version doesn’t - tried that already. I’ve e mailed the guys though so maybe they can come up with a solution, but failing that Hamlib I know works fine, as I’ve been using WSJT-X and tested with various logging programs, up there. The K3 and K3S have 9 programmable transverter bands so you can program in the frequency for each band, and the rig displays the frequency, as well as sending that info out on the RS232 port. I’ve not tried 10G but certainly up to 5.7 GHz here works fine. NOTE : The manual shows support for 0 - 24999 MHz for any of the 9 bands so it will go to 24 G as well(!) At any rate, I truly appreciate your work on this and it would be super duper to have support on all the microwave bands as well., when using the various SDR’s as panadapters etc. vy 73 Dana VE3DS

Hi, I do not have time to add Hamlib at the moment. There's a new, free OmniRig client which may provide the support needed but to be honest I don't think it will. If you see a reference to a new version of OmniRig with support for frequencies above 4GHz let me know. I don't see how you are reading 10GHz from the K3, is this some up/down-converter option? I had an e mail from ALex 3NEA and he confirms that his software OMNIRIG won’t go above 2 Ghz, due to code issues. So I can’t use your software with my microwave stuff & my K3. I there any chance you could add in HAMLIB? It works with the K3 all the way up to 10 GHz. I see some logging programs offer either/or., and WSJT-X uses it as well. I’m sure it would be a pain to add but would be useful for external radios / microwave guys. Would a few cases of puppy food do it?? : ) vy 73 dana VE3DS
