Re: Fw: [SDR-Radio] No RSP useable in SDR Console

Sven,
I'm sorry - I have no idea what has happened with the new APIs. It works for some people with API 3.09 - maybe others with RSP radios can comment here.
One thing - SDR Console is a 64-bit program, I think the others are 32-bit.

So can you catch a screen shot with a menu showing? For that the main screen shot is about your only trick. {o.o} On 20220809 16:38:08, Siegfried

These are likely locally sourced from a power brick. Do you have your ribbon bar configured to hide itself? You can change that. You don't have to, though. You can use the print screen button on your keyboard will show the menus dropped down from the ribbon bar if it is showing when you reach over to the button on your keyboard. {^_^} On 20220809 15:19:38, George Stein -

My settings are in the attached picture called Home. For some reason, I cannot get the menu screens to stay open in SDRC. Taking a snapshot closes them before the picture is made. There must be a setting that I have forgotten somewhere to allow the menus to stay open. Any idea as to why this is happening? Other receivers are not doing this Thanks, George

Sven, did you take the steps I recommended to remove all SDR Play software and re-install it? I had a similar issue last year and this cleaned up things on my PC.
1. Disconnect all SDR play receivers from PC. 2. Un-install ALL SDR Play software, applications, drivers, API, etc. 3. Delete SDR Play definitions in Console 4. Reboot the computer 5. Re-install the SDR Play software. a. Make sure you do not plug in the receiver until directed to do so by the SDR Play software installation. 6. Check operation in SDR Uno 7. Add a new definition in Console and test -- Dennis KA6FUB

I am very happy to hear that diversity reception is on the way. One request though. Please, consider also stereo diversity reception (i.e. signal from each antenna / channel is provided as “stereo” to the headphones). Greetings, -- - + - + -

Re: Afedri AFE822X dual channel Diversity/phasing support?
Conrad, PA5Y
Yes this is a useful feature, the brain does a very good job of ‘decoding’ in such circumstances providing that both channels have a similar noise floor. Also it is quite surprising when you hear a sporadic E or MS signal pan across the headphones. Perhap not very useful but great fun to hear. I have heard this on occasion when using Linrad and my 2m Xpol setup in the past.
