Aha well Simon just thought that someother strange ghost was wandering in my pc ;---)
The delay seems to be about 4 seconds but not always.
I have uploaded a screen shot but it is not viewable.

b401 strange thing in bandscope
GE, using the sdr-iq as viewer of my 2nd IF at 8.215khz I have noted that:
tuning a cw or rtty station is ok, the bandscope and waterfall show the signals around.
But...

GE, am just playng in the shack using the sdr-iq as viewer\demodulator of the 2nd IF of my rig.
About the crashes:
in OPTIONs,
1) wanting to move the s-meter from one side to other : CRASH, dump
