I looked at this before, but didn't realize that one can change it in such a way.

Personally, I like the time element of the waterfall - being able to see several minutes of signal helps find it in the background - I'm usually

Martin - did you played with the upper and lower limits of the colors in manual mode (just by the mouse, in the rainbow scale on the right). You can also change the dynamic range by squeezing both

Yes, Tried that - manual/auto cal gives me a dimmer display than the default.
In general, I find the display of V2 much more like the Spectravue display - "various shades

I find that the spectrum display is superb in V2, to the point that I hardly look at the waterfall. The spectrum display shows the slightest of signals and appears to be done in a "simple" way that

Did you try clicking the "Automatic Calibration" button (available both to the right of the waterfall, just above the strength scale, or from the "Display" tab) ??

Am I imagining it, or is the V2 waterfall not quite as sensitive as V1.5?
I'm listening to cw on 472kHz now - there are several signals clearly audible & readable, with very strong traces on

Using my CCW SDR-4+ exactly as I would with V1.5 I get no data transfer from server to remote console, it connects but then is
