Re: Happy New Year
I see that it would be nice to play with but is not very practical and requires a lot of effort from me. There’s no API for the RX888, just raw ADC data and ‘good luck to the programmer’.

A few hours is a few days. Adding serial number support is straightforward, I have no plans to add the 64 MHz bandwidth.

One thing,
I'll be 65 this year so who knows how long I'll be writing code. There are many things that could be written, I must concentrate on those which I really have a desire to write.

Humans have an advantage. We understand context and current AI implementations don't come close to understanding context. That is subject to change.

His "Bitmap Display" surprised me that I needed a moment to get a grip of it and its possible

In noisy conditions a human can decode better, cause when a human hears something like "c o . . w a l l", the human knows the missing r and n.
The brain is the best noisefilter

Please somewhere in there squeeze in a few hours to put together the new RX888 knowledge to make it more useful within SDRC.

Agreed about the training. I hope to have the AI included by Easter, then I can dig further. Still a lot to do to get a nice UI harness working.

Re: SDR Console down conversion Option (external radio settings)
when you tune to 2m or 70cm the converter is ignored (cause -929mhz would give a negative result) and when tuned to 23 cm the converter is used (and sdr is tuned to 3xx mhz)

It is the antenna I use for MW DX for TA-stations. It beams into the Mid-west of the US.
