Hi,
I would put a high Z, ferrite suppression choke on the extension cord at the plug end as a test. If the RFI goes away or is reduced, then as you suggested, the cord is probably a transmitting

Interesting "source" of RF interference
Greetings all,
I stumbled upon an interesting/surprising “source” of RF interference in my SDR listening. I’m using an Airspy HF+ discovery connected through 75-ohm coax to a ~60-foot

Problems with External Radio tracking
I'm using a remote setup with RCForb client to connect to the remote RCForb server running a TS-590sg radio.

Re: SDR Console down conversion Option (external radio settings)
Ok you mean a converter definition in the SDR definition itself.. I will try it… As I‘m working with different identities in SDR Console this could be a perfect solution..

Re: SDR Console down conversion Option (external radio settings)
Dear Sigi,
you mean setting the offset in the Icom IC9700? I will try it, maybe a workaround until it works in SDR Console.. I‘m a bit curious about the tracking with the offset in the TRX, but

Re: SDR Console down conversion Option (external radio settings)
Converter in radui definitions could be used.
Set the needed offset for 23cm band.
Start radio with that offset.
On 2m and 70cm the offset is not used (ignored) while on 23cm it is used.
Works

Re: SDR Console down conversion Option (external radio settings)
Hi Sigi,
my receiving is done above the sdr frequency, the converter works only additive…
In SDR Console it should look like this with tracking the IC9700 and the RSP2pro
sdr must be on

Re: A new way to shut off a PC
It could well be the PSU, more chance of caps blowing than the CPU needing new grease.

My aging 420W Zalman PSU was replaced with a brand new 650W Corsair PSU. Thermal grease also replaced on the CPU.
Launching SDR Console doesn't shut off the PC anymore!
Thank you all for
