I'll believe that. But it was possible that the USB 3 port controller was in some data contention issues. RX888 going full speed would prove that. That's why I asked.

That REALLY REALLY sounds like a firewall issue. Is your wireless network behind a NAT firewall of its own? (That is a nice secure way to handle it.)

Mumble mumble.... USB 3,0 was supposed to be about 500 MBps (BYTE/s). So it should support, just barely, a sample rate of 125 Msps for 16 bit I/Q samples. Is that 24 MHz a limit only

Simon, I agree but I've disabled the Windows firewall on my laptop. And since I can remote into my "station" on SDR Space on other PCs, I know my router is configured correctly. I'll keep digging.
