Re: With LimeSDR the software V3 64 bits build 696 crashes immediately
That is correct from what I found. The chip used on the board is an FPF3042 rated at 12.4v in Max. This is based on info from the LimeSDR schematics and BOM.
I use 9 volts.

Bernard,
It doesn’t ‘crash’, it stops running, a crash is different 😊
It doesn’t ‘crash’ immediately, it clearly runs for a second or so – you see some data in the waterfall!

I set the LNA gain to 32 and the VGA gain to 36 but the only change I noticed was a much stronger signal at 20MHz and a clearer 500 Hz tone.

I have found that I need to set the LNA gain to 32 and the VGA gain to 36or so then I can see a 1296 beacon that comes in 40 db above the noise floor.I’m using a simple antenna that came with a GPS

I finally found some time and got SDR-radio working with my HackRF but I having trouble actually receiving something. The Broadcast FM comes in pretty clear. The best WWV signal I get is at 20MHz

Not a solution to your problem but just a note....
I am not sat by my Lime but seem to remeber reading somewhere that the max DC voltage was 12V.
I may be wrong.....

If it’s an Atom processor you can gauge how good it is by the entries at the bottom of the table… not so good.
I use an Atom next to my TV for DVDs and playing avi and jpegs etc. at 1920 x
