Can't be a bad download, as the same thing happens since the October 23rd,2017 preview. 3 downloads and a crash each time. The October 23rd,2017 preview 7 runs without any problems on the same PiPo.

Werner, Does the splash screen appear? I can make a special kit which I can use to analyse a crash dump, I can’t analyse dumps with the current kits you have. One thing you can do is run

Simon, the console aborts immediately after start; I have a procmon-trace from start up to the moment, when the window 'Bitte warten' turns up; I studied it, but no enlightment ... it is 20 MBytes
