Reference Spectrum
I'm playing with using the software as a basic spectrum analyser.
Would it be possible to a add the facility to create a "reference spectrum" by saving the current window and then subtracting that

It was me transmitting on 80m, working ZL4RMF, ZL3RIK, ZL4UC etc.
My 80m dipole is close to the RX antenna.

I agree, it looks like very broadband ( Utility based "spark transmitter" ) signal that
crashed your SDR.

Hasan,
Very happy to hear you have it working.
Normally the uploading occurs almost immediately. This morning is an exception, as the Fox Telemetry Server appears to be off-line.

Re: Power Line Noise or other Local Event (?)
Powerline noise (in the meaning of PowerLAN, Homeplug PLC...) does normally not appear on 80 m. The manufacturers have agreed to "notch" (reduce by 30 dB) their broadband signals inside the ham bands.

Re: CAT Controller very sluggish in response.
Ed,
What is Omnirig connected to? You donβt give me all the info βΉ.
Please try the following: connect HRD to SDR Console, do not run any other programs at all. Just HRD and SDR Console,

Please don't spend much time on this on my account unless you think there is something to it. Unless somebody chimes in with a similar setup and issues it may just be something here. I don't

Re: CAT Controller very sluggish in response.
Com0com does the same thing as the Eltima software. Sluggish for a few seconds, then works. Do nothing for a few seconds and it temporarily gets sluggish again for a few seconds then works.
Not sure

Re: CAT Controller very sluggish in response.
I had a bit more time to play with the Eltima software, SDR-Console and HRD. It's not application focus. It's time. I scroll to change a frequency on HRD and it's very sluggish for a few seconds

Re: CAT Controller very sluggish in response.
Simon,
Omni-Rig to run WSJT-X and FT-8. That's all. It works fine. But isn't using a Virtual cable. It works great.
Thanks,
Ed
